What is the Michael Jordan Steal His Look Meme based on?
Michael Jordan is one of my personal heroes, the GOAT. Michael Jordan single-handedly revolutionized the NBA superstar with a unique blend of foundational soundness, elegance, speed, strength, creativity, improvisational skill, and an endless competitive hunger. He was a rookie phenomenon who carried his failing team in the 80s. He finished his career as an icon and cultural hero.
He is regarded as one of the best trash talkers of all time, but he also took shows of disrespect personally. This meme captures one’s tendency to sometimes take small social slights and turn them into warfare. The “And I Took That Personally” meme originated in the Netflix series “The Last Dance”. That show was a killer recap of how the Chicago Bulls were a superb team in the 90s, winning five championships. Michael took various offenses personally, including those from other star basketball players, from Bulls management, from other team’s managers. The dude was a freaking competitor.

How to make a Michael Jordan costume
Jordan has an insane net worth so you probably can’t afford his clothes, but realistically you can buy fairly lookalike items on Amazon at a good price. It’s a hard look to pull off without a basketball player’s build but I think if you’re sitting down and just say “I took it personally” repeatedly, at least someone’s gonna get the reference.
Options to buy from Amazon:
Gildan Classic T-Shirt | Dockers Classic Pants |
Timex Leather Watch | Ball Chain Necklace |
Nike Low Air Force |
